MY NAME IS GALE

Every since becoming a photographer, I’ve been obsessed with not simply ‘taking photos’. For years I’ve pondered, worked on, and reworked my approach to studio portraiture and photography to find how I can best express my voice through my work. The journey is everlasting— I savor every moment of it, and through it I’ve learned about myself and others.

I’ve learned that I prefer to be intentional while leaving room for spontaneity and happy accidents; that someone looks best when they’re made to feel comfortable and secure; that beauty lies in the fruit born of the tree of simplicity planted generations ago; and that making art from the cooperation of human minds and spirits is the height of aspiration.
